Import of data into R

The first step is always to get data into R. Community ecology data are usually in form of spreadsheet tables with rows and columns (rows usually being samples and columns descriptors). Good practice is to save each table into one file (preferentially *.txt file with cells delimited by tabulator), save these files into certain folder, and at the beginning of the script locate the bunch of functions reading the data from the files into R working space.
